Edmonton, Alberta- Jordan Eberle scored the only goal of the shootout in the second round to lead the Edmonton Oilers over the Boston Bruins 3-2 Wednesday night at Rexall Place.

Edmonton (9-15-2) saw a one goal lead evaporate twice, as Torrey Krug scored a late second period goal to make it 1-1, after a shorthanded goal from Mark Letestu had made it 1-0 Oilers halfway through the period.

Matt Hendriks gave Edmonton back the lead again 9:22 into the third, but once again Boston would answer as Zdeno Chara scored with only 3:21 left to send the game to overtime.

Boston (13-8-2) is still unbeaten in regulation in their last six games and will continue their road trip with a visit to Calgary on Friday night at 9 p.m.

Tukka Rask made 36 saves for the Bruins while Anders Nilsson made 40 for the Oilers and improved to 6-0 all time in shootouts.
