Celtics to face Rondo and the Kings at Mexico City

December 3, 2015

The Boston Celtics will play their third game on a five game road trip this evening. This game will technically be on a neutral site. The Celtics (10-8) will take on the Sacramento Kings (7-12) at Mexico City, Mexico as part of the NBA’s global games. Game time is scheduled for 10 PM.

Rajon Rondo is showing signs of his early days when he played with the Celtics.  Rondo is averaging 12.1 points per game, 10.7 assists per game, and 7.1 rebounds per game this season for the Kings. Rondo’s stint in Boston didn’t end well, but his part for the 2008 championship team will never be forgotten.

The Celtics are 1.5 games behind Toronto in the Atlantic division. They are coming off a 105-95 win at Miami. The schedule will get tougher for the Celtics, as they take on the Spurs on Saturday night.
