Record setting day for Brady and the Patriots in regular season finale

Tom Brady threw for 276 yards on 25-33 passing and touchdowns to three different receivers in leading the New England Patriots to a 35-14 win at Miami in the regular season finale. 

Julian Edelman finished with 177 receiving on eight catches, highlighted by a 77 yard touchdown reception. The Patriots locked down the number one seed in the AFC with a 14-2 record. 

Brady finished with the best TD-Int rate in history, and the Patriots finished with the fewest interceptions thrown ever. Brady also passed Dan Marino for fourth all time in passing yards. 

The Patriots are the seventh team in history to finish a regular season with an 8-0 road record. They will play their first playoff game at either January 14th or 15th at Gillette Stadium.
