The Bangor Rams girls basketball scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, including 10 from Abby Houghton as the Rams held on for a 49-42 over Oxford Hills on Monday afternoon at Bangor. The Rams improved to 5-6, while the Vikings suffered their first loss (10-1).

The Hampden Broncos boys basketball jumped out to a 23-10 halftime lead and rolled to a 61-33 victory over Lawrence on Monday afternoon. It is the Broncos 61st consecutive win at home. Hampden (10-1) will be at Messalonskee this Friday, before coming back home for games with Mt. Blue and Bangor next week.
