Eastern Maine Sports will have live audio of Mattanawcook at John Bapst girls basketball on Wednesday night

The John Bapst Crusaders will host Mattanawcook in a class B girls basketball at the Cross Insurance Center on Wednesday night. Eastern Maine Sports will have live audio coverage starting around 6:50 PM.

The Crusaders are 9-5 and currently fourth in the Maine Principals’ Association class B North heal point standings. The Lynx are 2-12 with four games remaining in the regular season.

John Bapst is led by Crystal Bell who is third in the Big East in scoring, averaging 17.8 points per game. Grace Philippon is eighth in the league in scoring, averaging 12.8 per game. Bell, Philippon, and Abbey Legasse are in the top 10 in the Big East in steals per game.

Courtney Gordon powers the Lynx defensive charge. Gordon leads the league with 4.6 steals per game. Gordon and Katie Tolman are in the top 10 in the league in assists.
