For the second time this week, a Presque Isle team knocked off a previously undefeated team. On Wednesday night, the Wildcats girls basketball team (10-4) defeated Houlton 63-62.
On Friday night, the Presque Isle boys basketball team (9-5) knocked off MDI 60-53. The Wildcats held a 12 point lead after the third quarter and held on for the seven point win.
Both teams moved up to third in the Maine Principals’ Association class B North heal point standings with four games remaining in the regular season.
