Husson baseball drops close one to Rhode Island College

The Husson Eagles held leads of 5-0 and 6-5, but ended up falling 8-7 to Rhode Island College at Winter Haven, Florida on Monday afternoon. 

Husson evened the score at 6 in the top of the seventh inning when Ryan Rebar singled home Conor Maguire. The Eagles took a 7-6 lead when Michael Wong scored on a fielders choice.

Rhode Island College took advantage of a walk, and an Eagles error, plus had two hits of their own to take the lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. 

Maguire, Christian Corneil, and Luke Covey had two hits each for the Eagles. Husson (1-2) will play Clark on Tuesday morning at 10:30 @ Winter Haven.
