Highview Girls Varsity Soccer 2017 preview
Last Year’s Record: 2-12
Expectations: Under 3rd year head coach Margo Pangburn expectations are to be competitive and play as a team.
Strengths: Senior goalie Megan McDonald is solid and can also spark the offense when needed.
Challenges: Looks like only 11 girls will be playing this year so everyone has to step up and make sure they take conditioning seriously. Add to that a tough schedule against schools like Shead, Woodland, East Grand, and a Friday afternoon Saturday morning double at Vinalhaven.
Key Players: Senior Forward Jenna Kepple, Senior Goalie Megan McDonald, Senior Midfielder Cassidy Lessner, and Senior Forward Hannah Goulet.
Schedule: The regular season will start at Woodland on September 6th. The first game st home will be on September 20th against Greater Portland Christian.
