Dexter girls soccer grab big win over Orono

DEXTER— Danielle Cummings scored two first half goals as the Dexter girls soccer team rolled to a 5-0 victory over Orono on Tuesday afternoon. 

Avery Herrick scored two second half goals while Hannah Dorman added one to help the Tigers secure the important heal point worthy victory. 

Dorman and Lily Cummings added one assist each, while Herrick assisted on both first half goals. Addyson Herrick recorded six saves on 11 shots in goal for the Tigers.  Dexter (9-3) currently sits second on the Maine Principals’ Association class C North heal point standings. 

Maggie Coutts recorded 10 saves on 17 shots for the Red Riots.  Orono (9-3) is fourth in the class C heal point standings with two games remaining in the regular season.
