NEWPORT- The Nokomis Warriors outscored Bucksport 31-14 in the second half and rolled to a 60-38 win in a girls basketball preseason game played Thursday night at Nokomis.
Chelsea Crockett scored 20 points, including nine in the second quarter to lead the Warriors. Gabby Lord filled up the stat sheet with 13 points, 13 rebounds, four steals, and two blocks.
Casey Coombs scored 17 points (including 3 three pointers) to lead the Bucks. Nokomis out-rebounded Bucksport 42-30.
