Central Aroostook Boys Basketball 2016/2017 record (12-6)- lost in class D. semifinals to Southern Aroostook. The Panthers will be playing in class C North in the 2017/2018 season.

Strengths- Good guard play, quickness

Biggest challenges – will be dealing with teams that have solid height as we are very small, also rebounding is a challenge and playing solid defense for 32 minutes.

Key players- Brayden Bradbury and Ben Thomas will be leaned on  to do a lot on both sides of the ball, Colby Kingsbury will be asked to provide an inside presence offensively and defensively. Also younger brother Hayden Kingsbury hopefully will be a nice addition to the rotation. We have a good freshmen group and we are looking forward to helping them in their development as the season progresses.

Schedule: The Panthers open the season at Houlton and Southern Aroostook, before playing their home opener against Greater Houlton Christian on December 14th.

Keenan Marseille (Hermon) and Marc Calnan

Adam Bertrand (MCI)
