Kyrie drops 36 as Celtics knock off 76ers

Kyrie Irving scored 36 points Thursday night, as the Boston Celtics knocked off the Philadelphia 76ers 108-97 at TD Garden in Boston.

Boston (19-4), bounced back from a Monday night home loss to Detroit by putting four players in double figures. Al Horford had 21 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Marcus Morris added 17 points and five rebounds, while Jayson Tatum chipped in 15.

Dario Saric led 12-9 Philadephia with 18 points. J.J. Reddick added 17, while rookie guard Ben Simmons finished with 15.

Boston will host Phoenix on Saturday at 1 p.m.
