Hermon is the favorite in class B North boys basketball. The Hawks have their starting five returning and should be even deeper with Machias transfer Jacob Godfrey. Oceanside made the regional final in class A last season and will be ready to contend in class B. The defending state champs from MDI lost a lot of talent but will be a factor.
