The Boston Celtics used a strong third quarter Saturday night, to pull away for a 117-92 win over the Chicago Bulls.

Chicago (10-22), blew out Boston on the Celtics trip to play the Bulls back on December 11 by a 108-85 score. It looked as if the Celtics would be in a tight game Saturday with the visitors from the Windy City, as Boston held just a two point halftime lead. But the hosts opened up the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Bulls 38-18 to break open a close game and end a two game losing streak.

Boston (27-9), was led by Kyrie Irving who had 25 points, four rebounds, and seven assists. Jaylen Brown also added 20 points and five rebounds. Five other Celtics finished in double figures, including Jayson Tatum (13), Marcus Smart (11), and Daniel Theis, Al Horford, and Aron Baynes all had 10 points a piece. Theis added 15 rebounds.

Bobby Portis had 17 points and eight rebounds for Chicago.

Boston will host Washington at 5:30 p.m. Christmas Day.
