Bruins battle past rival Canadiens in shootout

The Boston Bruins outscored the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 in a shootout Saturday night, to take a 4-3 win over their rivals at the Bell Center in Montreal.

Jake Debrusk had a goal and an assist. Brad Marchand and David Krejci also scored goals, and Charlie McAvoy had two assists. Boston is now 9-0-2 in their past 11 games.

Marchand scored in the fourth round of the shootout to provide the difference. Tuuka Rask had 27 saves in the win.

Max Pacioretty, Nick Deslauriers, and Alex Galchenyuk scored for Montreal, who falls to 18-20-5. Cary Price made 29 saves in the loss.

Boston (24-10-7), will host Dallas on Monday afternoon at 1 p.m.
