Celtics add Greg Monroe and Keep Rolling

February 9, 2018

While the chaos surrounds the Celtics, they have maintained their roster through the trade and added Greg Monroe a free-agent center and he debuted strongly for the C’s last night. The past couple weeks the Celtics beat the Clippers, the Nuggets, the Knicks, the Hawks, the Trailblazers, and the Wizards and they fell to the Warriors and the Raptors.

The Celtics have added Greg Monroe, who played last night against the Wizards and added a lot to the stat sheet with 5 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. The Celtics outlasted the Wizards to a 110-104 victory in overtime. Kyrie Irving added 28 points in the win, Jaylen Brown added 18, Marcus Morris had 15, Al Horford and Terry Rozier both chipped in 12, and Jayson Tatum added 11.
