The Southern Aroostook (16-2) Girls Basketball team went undefeated against class D opponents this season. The only two losses for the Warriors came against class C top seed Houlton. Southern Aroostook closest game against a class D opponent was 25 points.

Woodland (15-3) also went undefeated against class D opponents. There only losses came against Narraguagus (2) and Calais (1). The Dragons also had an exciting 73-71 win over Calais late in the season.

Deer Isle-Stonington (16-0) went undefeated and come in as the number three seed. Shead, Katahdin, and Ashland also have advanced to the quarterfinals.

Jonesport-Beals/Washburn and Easton/Schenck will be the prelim matchups. Schenck finished 9-9 with a very challenging schedule. They could present a challenge to Woodland if they get by the preliminary round. Click here for the full class D girls basketball schedule.
