Ryan Fredette from Winslow high school won four straight class B state wrestling championships. In 2018, Fredette won the New England championship and was picked outstanding wrestler of the tournament.
On Thursday morning, Fredette was named Eastern Maine Sports wrestler of the year. He received  62% of 2129 votes. Fredette finished the 2017/2018 season with a 49-0 record.
