The Dexter high school field hockey team started the season strong when they recorded a 3-0 shutout over PCHS at Guilford on Wednesday afternoon.
Juniors Lexi Dow and Kassandra Gray each put in one goal while sophomore Rayna Bernard tallied the other score. Dexter (1-0) will play their home opener against Orono on Friday. PCHS (0-1) will travel to Stearns on Friday.
