Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. This week we had four Rowells Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Avery Herrick accounted for seven of her teams goals in a Dexter field hockey win over Central. Herrick had four goals and three assists in 10-0 Tigers win over the Red Devils. This is the second AOW honor for Herrick. - Kiya Cook- Foxcroft- soccer – had two goals in 2-0 win over Dexter. Had two goals and one assist in 9-0 win over MCI.
