Cymeria Robshaw earns the Charles Inn female athlete of the week

Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. Here is a full list of the 227 past athlete of the week winners.

This week, we had eight Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Cymeria Robshaw scored six second half goals to help Penquis get a girls soccer win over PCHS. Robshaw joins Isaiah Bess  (5) (3-4-13), and
Trevor Lyford (3) (2-23-14) as student/athletes from Penquis that have earned athlete of the week honors. Erin Speed from PCHS earned runner up as she scored five goals in the same game that Robshaw got six.

Caroline Davis- John Bapst- field hockey- recorded a hat trick in 3-1 win over Hermon.

Hannah Dorman- Dexter- soccer- scored two goals in 6-0 win over George Stevens.

Avery Herrick- Dexter- soccer- the freshman recorded two goals and three assists in 6-0 win over George Stevens.
