Highview girls basketball pick up win over class C Phoenix

BATH– The Highview Christian girls basketball team got a big point worthy win on Tuesday evening. The Knights, from class D south were able to knock off the Hyde Phoenix from class C south  40-27,

Kelsea McDonald led the way for the Knighrs with 14 points, while Cassidy Lessner added 12 points. Highview Christian jumped out to a 14-4 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.

The Phoenix were led by Timesha Walker with 10 points. Diamond Brown and Jillian Tolman chipped in with six points each. Hyde (3-5) will host Old Orchard Beach on Thursday evening.

HCA (6-3) moved up to seventh in the Maine Principals’ Association class D south heal point standings. The Knights will return to action on Thursday evening at 5 PM when they travel south to Saco to battle Greater Portland Christian.
