PVC 2017 All-Conference field hockey teams

The Penobscot Valley Conference field hockey coaches named their all stars for the 2017 season. Dexter and Old Town had five players each named, including Rebecca Batron from Dexter, who was named Conference player of the year.


Batron’s teammate Kaitlyn Webber joined her on the first team. Kim Voisine and Emily Tolman from Mattanawcook, and Mackenzie Folsom and Corinne Saucier from Old Town were picked to the first team. 

The following players were also on the first team, Makenzie Beaudry (Foxcroft), Madison Pullen (Hermon), Peighton Ingersoll (Stearns), Molly McCluskey (Orono), and Tianna Cyr (John Bapst).

Dexter, Foxcroft, and Old Town had two players each on the second team. Aubrey Godin and Hayley Rossman (Dexter), Morgan Love and McKenna Smith (Old Town), Cailin Seavey and Jemyni True (Foxcroft) joined Maija Overturf (Central), Katie Walker (Orono), Madison Willis (Hermon), Makenzie Handley (John Bapst), and Renee Pelletier (Stearns) on the second team.

The following players were honorable mention. Brianna Butler (Central), Olivia Webber (Dexter), Cassidy Marsh (Foxcroft), Kelci Clark (Hermon), Olivia Johnson (John Bapst), Gabby Theriault (Mattanawcook), Meghan Grindle (Old Town), Rebecca Tocci (Orono), Lilli McCormack (PCHS ), and Sidney Farquhar (Stearns). Heather Girsa from Stearns was named coach of the year.
