Expectations– This year is a building year for the Golden Bucks. The Bucks will be working on numbers and increasing experience of the young team. Over the last few year Bucksport has been in single digit participation. The 2015-2016 season is looking good with 15 wrestlers signed on. We expect to become a force in class B North over the next few years.
Strengths– Bucksport is a young team with only one senior and one junior. This will be an asset in the future of the Bucksport wrestling program. The Bucks have 3 returning class C state place winners. Devin Darveau is the returning class C state champion @ 106. He’ll be wrestling at 120 this year. Bucksport is also under new coaching staff with a fresh new outlook.
Challenges– Numbers. Bucksport will be giving up 30+ points in forfeits.

Coaches remarks: I am looking forward to building this program into a formidable opponent. I grew up and wrestled in Bucksport so it’s good to be home.
