The Maine Black Bears will do battle with the Princeton Tigers from the ECAC on November 27th-28th at Alfond Arena
Well, another off week on the picks last week, but two of the three losses were wins for Maine which I am sure all the Black Bears fans are ok with. This week Maine will host Princeton for a pair of non conference games and the other two games are also non conference matchups of the ECAC and Hockey East.

This weeks games and picks:

Princeton (2-6-0) at Maine (2-8-3)
The Tigers come to town looking for their second win over the Black Bears this season. Princeton topped Maine 3-1 back on October 31st in the consolation game of the Capital City Classic in New Jersey. Princeton had lost 5 in a row after that win over Maine until a 3-0 win over #20 Clarkson last Friday. Maine is coming off their first two wins of the year in a home sweep over Vermont.
The pick- Maine picked up tremendous momentum with their sweep last weekend and I believe they will keep it going over a less talented Princeton team. Maine 4, Princeton 2
#3 Quinnipiac (11-0-2) at UMass-Amherst (6-3-4)
The third ranked Bobcats make a visit into Mullins Center to face the Minutemen. Quinnipiac has been playing extremely well although are coming off a pair of home ties last weekend, 1-1 and 0-0, against Clarkson and St Lawrence respectfully. UMass also is coming off a pair of ties, coming on the road, 2-2 at UNH Friday night and 1-1 at #13 Merrimack Saturday.
The pick- The Bobcats have too much goal scoring and depth for the Minutemen to be able to contain. Quinnipiac takes it 4-1
Saturday, November 28th
Princeton at Maine
The Black Bear fans haven’t had alot to cheer about to start the season but will be cheering their team on this night to a possible fourth straight win.
The pick- Staying with Maine to finish off the sweep and extend to a four game winning streak. Maine 2, Princeton 0
#10 Yale (5-1-2) at #1 Providence (8-0-3)
Providence swept Northeastern last weekend at home to extend their unbeaten streak dating back to last year to 15 games (12-0-3), the longest unbeaten streak in program history. Yale is coming off a 0-0 tie with Cornell and a 3-1 win over Colgate.
The pick- The Friars are rolling right now and can’t pick against them this year until someone proves they can beat them. Providence 5, Yale 2
