The Husson University Eagles women’s basketball team jumped out to a 31-5 lead after the first quarter and rolled an 84-38 win over Thomas in Tuesday afternoon.
Kenzie Worcester scored 15 points on 5-7 shooting from the field and 4-5 from the free throw line in 14 minutes to lead the Eagles. Chandler Gierrette added 14 points, while Deanae Johnson chipped in with nine points, Rebecca Young, Victoria McIntyre, and Anna Macakenzie scored eight points each for Husson who improved to 8-3 overall and 6-0 in the North Atlantic Conference.
Sarah Pepin led Thomas with 12 points. The Terriers are now 2-11 overall and 1-6 in conference play.
