Eastern Maine Sports added the Central at Foxcroft girls basketball game to the broadcast schedule when that game was postponed and moved to Thursday. The winner of that game will clinch a home prelim game next Tuesday when the Maine Principals’ Association class B tournament starts. Even with a Foxcroft win, Central could get a home prelim game, with some help in other games going on around Eastern Maine on Thursday night.
The boys game between the same two schools will follow at around 7 p.m. Foxcroft has won two of their last three games to get themselves within reach of a tournament spot. The Ponies will need a win over Central and a Skowhegan win over Mount View to have a shot at one of the final spots in class B. The Central boys are currently seeded ninth. They have a chance to get in the top eight and hosting a prelim game with a win over Foxcroft and help from others on Thursday night. The Red Devils could finish anywhere from 8-10 in the standings,
