PORTER, FISH CLAIM STATE FOUL SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIPS AT THE 2016 MAINE McDONALD’S ALL-STAR BASKETBALL GAMES: Lagerstrom and Savage finish as runner up

BANGOR, Maine – The Maine State Foul Shooting Champions were decided today at the Maine McDonald’s High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games at Husson University in Bangor.

Isable Porter of Greely High School made 48 of 50 shots to win the Maine State Foul Shooting competition for the girls. Runner-up Emily Lagerstrom of Presque Isle High School connected on 47 shots.

Elijah Fish of Gardiner Area High School won the boys State Championship by making 48 shots out of 50. Donovan Savage of Caribou High School made 47 shots to take second place.

The Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) organized competitions earlier this year to determine the regional finalists who competed for the State Championship during All-Star weekend.
