Nick Miller takes over a program that is rich with tradition. Miller will have big shoes to fill as he takes over as head coach of the Foxcroft Ponies baseball team.
Mark Chevalier led the Ponies to two regional championship games, including winning the class B Eastern Maine title in 2012. Chevalier left to be associate director of communications at The American School in Switzerland.. The Ponies compiled a 73-19 record in Chevalier’s five years.
The Ponies went 13-5 and reached the quarterfinals last season. Miller will have experienced seniors on the mound,good team speed, and strong outfield defense as the Ponies will look to be near the top of the standings in a strong class B in 2016.

The Ponies are scheduled to open their season on Tuesday, April 19th at Dexter. Their home opener is scheduled for April 21st against PCHS. After that, the Ponies will have a difficult five game stretch that will include two games against Old Town and MDI.
