Husson baseball sweeps Norwich

The Husson University Eagles baseball team swept Norwich in a doubleheader at the Winkin Sports Complex in Bangor in Saturday afternoon.

In game one, the Eagles had 10 different players with at least one hit, while Andrew Curran and Mike Wong had two hits each in a 7-0 victory. Curran had a double and a triple. Robert Graff pitched three scoreless innings, while Brandon Reilly (2-0) fired four scoreless innings of relief to earn the victory.

Husson also used a balanced attack in game two. They had nine different players with at least one hit, including Julien Boone with two in a 7-1 victory. JT Whitten and Cam Archer had two RBI each. Ben Walls allowed one hit in four scoreless innings on the mound. Dan Whitney allowed one run in three innings to earn the victory.

Husson (5-5) will host St. Joes on Thursday, before playing conference doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday next weekend.
