Dumfries District L.L., Dumfries, Virginia, defeated North Springs (Fla.) 5-1 in the Southeast Region Senior League championship game at Safety Harbor, Fla. on Wednesday.
It is the third consecutive year that Dumfries has earned a trip to the Senior League World Series at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor. They made it to the semifinals in 2014.
