Maine defeated UMass-Lowell Thursday night at Lowell by a score of 1-0 on a Kendra Ridley header 11 minutes into the game to claim the road victory.
Samantha Cobotic stopped all five Riverhawk shots on goal to pick up her second straight shutout.
Sunday afternoon Maine was blanked by a 3-0 score at Baltimore, Maryland by UMBC.
Wren Aye, Angela Kuhn, and Preslie Quaranta provided the goals for the Retrievers.
Leah Roth stopped all six shots on goal to shut out the Black Bears. Maine is now 6-4-0 on the season and 2-1-0 in America East. Maine returns home Thursday night October 6th to play Hartford at 6 p.m.
The UMaine Field Hockey team also split games this weekend in America East action.
Madison Cummings, Danielle Aviani, Samantha Wagg, and Sydney Velijacic scored goals to help Maine defeat UMass-Lowell 4-2 Friday in Orono.

Nolan Vesey, Jake Pappaiardo, Eric Shurhamer, Chase Pearson and Blaine Byron all scored for the Bears.
Maine took a 3-0 lead after one period of play, before the X-Men took over the second period with four goals to take the lead, and later extended to a two goal lead in the third period on a shorthanded goal then held on for the win.
