DEXTER—- Camryn Rolfe scored four goals in leading the Penquis Patriots girls soccer team to a 5-1 win over Dexter on Monday afternoon.
Rolfe and the Patriots took advantage of two penalty kicks in the first 8:29 of the contest. Rolfe converted the first one with 37:42 remaining in the half and the second one with31:31 left.
Cymeria Robshaw set up Rolfe’s third goal with 7:55 remaining in the first half. Penquis outshot Dexter 9-2 in the first 40 minutes.
Rolfe gave the Patriots a 4-0 lead with 30:28 left in the second half. Robshaw made it 5-0 when she drilled one with her left foot from about 20 yards out with 25:07 remaining.
Addyson Herrick scored the lone goal for the Tigers,with the assist going to Danielle Cummings. Reaghan Patterson finished with nine saves on 16 shots in goal for the Tigers. Dexter (3-7) will travel to Central on Saturday.
Jordan Durant made seven saves on 12 shots in goal for the Patriots. Penquis (7-1-1) will host Central on Wednesday. Click here for the full high school soccer scoreboard.
