The Piscataquis Community High School (PCHS) Pirates have defeated Foxcroft Academy and Penquis in the past week. Those wins have lifted the Pirates to sixth in the Maine Principals’ Association class C heal point standings with two games remaining in the regular season. They end the regular season on Monday at Orono.
PCHS (6-5-1) will have another heal point worthy game on Friday afternoon when they host Lee/Stearns. The Pandas have a 6-6 record and currently sit 10th in the Maine Principals’ Association class B heal point standings. Lee/Stearns is coming off a hard fought 2-1 loss against Penobscot Valley High School on Wednesday. They will end their regular season on Saturday afternoon at Washington Academy.
The Pirates and Pandas will meet on Friday afternoon and Eastern Maine Sports will have live audio coverage starting at 3:55.
