The high school football regional finals are this weekend around the state and things are in the stretch drive for the Eastern Maine high school football experts. Chris Lessner mainains the lead at the top of the standings with a 75-25 overall record. Marc Calnan and Skip Hawkes are one game back. Robert Beatham and Andrew Hart are two games back at 73-27, while Traci Calnan and David Mosley are 72-28.
The experts are picking the eight regional final games around the state plus a major college football game, and if the University of Maine and Husson can pick up road wins.
The panel has Winslow and Biddeford winning on the road. They expect the home team to come out on top in the remaining games. Below is a full list of semifinal games we are picking this week with the experts picks at the bottom of the page.
