School, sport, record from last year.
Winslow Boys Basketball, 10-9 last year
Expectations
We expect to compete for a top tournament seed, as is the expectation every year.
Strengths
We are very athletic, and we are very well rounded from a fundamentals standpoint. We play hard, and have athletes who have competed, and won, state championships in other sports, so our kids know what it is like to play in big games.
Challenges
Although we have a lot of juniors and seniors on our roster, we only return five letter winners from last years’ team. It may take some time for some of our more inexperienced players to adjust to the speed and physicality of the varsity game. We are also very thin on post players, and will need the ones we do have to really elevate their game, especially when it comes to rebounding.
Key Players/Position
Keanu Earle, G
Spencer Miranda, G
Dylan Hutchinson, G
Jack Morneault, G
Other info
We are going to play an exciting, uptempo style of basketball. Our league is very strong, each night is going to be a battle. We will need to use our athleticism to our advantage, and organize our defense to limit the scoring chances for other teams’ great players.
