Expectations: We expect to be pretty competitive within class C north this year. A tough schedule will test us with the likes of GSA, Stearns, Dexter, Schenck, PVHS, Penquis, Greenville and Lee.
Strengths: Our projected starting five are all versatile and interchangeable from 5’5″ to 5’9″. We have three returning in Erin Speed, Alivia Hunt, and Lexi Harris who saw a lot of minutes and starts last year.
Challenges: We graduated our two leading scorers and our leading rebounder. We will also be looking for depth during the preseason.
Key Players/Position: Jr’s Erin Speed (2 year starter), Lexi Harris and Bailey Lemieux should provide balance and leadership. Soph’s: Alivia Hunt is a athletic hard nosed player who will add toughness and exchange student Sara Almirante is a quality all around player that will round out the projected five starters. Depth off the bench will be from Fresh. 5’11” center Olivia Riitano, G-Shanoah Hill and F-Macee Pearl, Soph. G- Hope Adkins, G- Brooke Kujawski and F-Rachel Beckwith, senior newcomer G-Jewel Lamb, G-Danika Hill.
