Lawrence Bulldogs
Boys’ Basketball
10-9 (Lost in quarterfinals)
Expectations:
The league is more wide open to start the season than in seasons past. With that, the expectations are that if we play hard and play tough that we will be able to compete on a night to night basis.
Strengths:
So far the positive attitude of the players and their willingness to work has been a huge plus so far. The seniors have been very positive with everybody on the team. We also have one of the top 10 players in the state on the team in 6′ 2″ senior guard Mason Cooper.
Challenges:
We return only three letter winners from last season. We will be in inexperienced from a varsity playing time perspective. Our team is not blessed with a lot of natural height.
Key Players:
Mason Cooper, senior guard
Brandon Hill, senior guard
Ryan Pellerin, senior guard
Braden Ballard, junior forward
Kobe Nadeau, sophomore guard
Other information:
This has been a fun team to coach early this season. Their energy and effort level in practice has been outstanding. Their goal is to make it to Augusta and go from there. Their positive attitudes will aid them on this journey.
