The University of Maine Mens and Womens basketball teams are set to host a doubleheader of games Wednesday night at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
The men will kick it off at 5:30 p.m. when they welcome Holy Cross. Maine enters the contest at 2-6, coming off a home loss 82-61 to Central Connecticut State, and 94-55 at #5 Duke. Holy Cross comes in at 3-5, and most recently dropped a 56-53 decision at UNH Saturday.
The women will tipoff at 7:30 p.m. when Northeastern makes a visit to the CIC. Maine at 3-5, is coming off a close 69-61 road loss to ACC opponent Clemson last Friday. Northeastern enters at 2-6, and have lost six consecutive games.
