Bruins fall at home to Avalanche

For the second straight night the Boston Bruins fell behind early. For the second straight night the Bruins outshot their opponent. For the second straight night the Bruins took a loss at the end of the night. This time it was a 4-2 defeat  at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche at the TD Garden.

David Pastrnak scored two second period goals but it wasn’t nearly enough for the Bruins. Boston lost 4-3 in overtime at Washington on Wednesday night. The regulation loss broke a string of five consecutive games with at least one point for the Bruins.
