GUILFORD– The Stearns Lady Minutemen push to 4-0 after a victory over the PCHS Lady Pirates 48-38.

Stearns opened up the scoring with a foul shot and after a few minutes of back and forth action their foot never left the peddle and they were able to hold the lead throughout the rest of the game. Stearns dominated on offense and defense as they were able to take advantage and haul in rebounds after missed shots and be able to put them up for points. The only real struggle that the Lady Minutemen had was at the foul line as they shot 12 for 21 compared to PCHS who was 6 for 11.

Peighton Ingersoll led Stearns offense with 13 points while Katherine Alley had 10 points, Ingersoll also had six rebounds on defense.

For PCHS the offense struggled as Stearns defense was able to shut down one of PCHS best players in Sara Almirante holding her to only seven points. Erin Speed led PCHS with 13 points while Lexi Harris and Alivia Hunt both had eight points. Alivia Hunt led the defense as she racked up eight rebounds for the 2-2 PCHS Pirates.
