A total of six undefeated high school Northern Maine basketball teams will be in action on Monday night. That includes three girls teams that play in class C North.
The George Stevens girls team will try to match their boys team and improve to 9-0 when they host Ellsworth. Stearns will also hope to move to 9-0 when they travel to Katahdin. Madawaska (7-0) will play at 5-3 Easton. In a class B girls game Houlton (6-0) will host John Bapst (7-3).
The PCHS and Dexter girls will host tough class B opponents. Orono will travel to Guilford for a matchup with the Pirates, while Foxcroft will travel to Dexter for a clash with the Tigers.
The 9-0 Machias Bulldogs boys basketball team will travel to Jonesport-Beals. Central Aroostook (6-2) will take on Hodgdon (6-3) with a lot of heal points up for grabs.
The Hermon Hawks are the number one team in the current Maine Principals’ Assocation class B North girls heal point standings. The Hawks will host Mattanawcook. Eastern Maine Sports will have live audio of that game starting at 6:50 PM.
