Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. This week, we had 15 Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Kolleen Bouchard averaged 27 points in helping Houlton to three wins this week. Bouchard is the first student/athlete to be named athlete of the week eight times.

Kolleen Bouchard- Houlton- basketball- recorded 23 points, seven rebounds, and seven blocks in 66-63 win over John Bapst. Recorded 40 points, six rebounds, and six assists in 66-54 win over Calais. Scored 18 points in 70-38 win over Ellsworth.

Lexi Ireland- PVHS- basketball- the freshman recorded 24 points, 11 rebounds, and seven steals in 50-40 win over Penquis. Scored 13 points in 48-33 against Katahdin,

Peighton Ingersoll- Stearns- basketball- scored 12 points in 73-30 win over Katahdin. Scored 10 points in 103-12 win over Lee. Scored 17 points in 60-34 win over Searspoty.

Megan Peach- Dexter- basketball- scored 22 points in 38-37 loss to Foxcroft. Scored 21 points in 45-23 win over PVHS.

Holly Preston- Shead- basketball- scored 19 points in 43-25 win over Woodland. Scored 26 points in 63-40 win over Esst Grand.

Alexsis Sprowl- Jonesport-Beals- basketball- scored 15 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in 48-32 win over Highview Christian. Scored 14 points in 50-41 won over Deer Isle-Stonington.

Libby Cook- Central- basketball- recorded 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals in 45-16 win over Mattanawcook.

Emma Campbell- Central-basketball- recorded 11 points, six steals, five rebounds, and four assists in 45-16 win over Mattanawcook.

Sydney Allen-Central- basketball- recorded nine points, seven rebounds, and four assists in 45-16 win over Mattanawcook.

Katherine Alley- Stearns- basketball- scored 16 points in 103-12 win over Lee. Scored 15 points in 60-34 win over Searsport.

Adria Doane- Stearns- basketball- the freshman scored a career high 10 points in over Lee.

MacKenzie Carter- Stearns- basketball- scored 12 points in 103-12 win over Lee.

Erin Speed-PCHS- basketball- scored 23 points (5 three pointers) and six rebounds in 45-41 win over George Stevens.

Sara Almirante-PCHS-basketball- recorded 10 points, eight assists, and seven steals in 45-41 win over George Stevens.
