Freshman Tate Dolley (Machias) scored 16 points and pulled down eight rebounds in only 18 minutes to help the Husson University Eagles women’s basketball team defeat Green Mountain 90-38 on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles out-rebounded Green Mountain 64-36. Husson only committed 11 turnovers, while Green Mountain had 30 turnovers. Husson scored 40 points off turnovers, while Green Mountain scored two off the Eagles turnovers.
Hayden Campbell put in 12 points, while Sarah Bragg and Chandler Guerrette added 11 points each for the Eagles. Husson had 13 different players that scored and 12 different players that grabbed a rebound. Husson (14-1) will take on Bowdoin on Tuesday.
