Medomak Valley (14-0) held off Oceanside for a 55-51 win on Friday night. They kept the Panthers unbeaten and at the top of the class A North Maine Principals’ Association standings.
Medomak Valley has four games remaining, including against Lincoln Academy (6-8) who sits fifth in the class B South standings. They finish the regular season at Belfast (7-7), who is 5-2 at home.
George Stevens (15-0) and Southern Aroostook (14-0) join Medomak Valley among the undefeated in the North.
The biggest test for George Stevens, is a home game against Ellsworth this Friday. George Stevens won the first meeting 74-67 on December 17th.
The Warriors still have games left with class C tournament teams Fort Fairfield (13-1) and Woodland(7-6). Southern Aroostook handed Fort Fairfield their only loss 67-52 on December 19th.
