The Orono Red Riots overcame a nine point deficit it to defeat Mount Desert Island (MDI) 51-49 on Tuesday night. Nate Desisto capped the comeback with a three pointer at the buzzer. Orono (12-3) now sits third in the class B North Maine Principals’ Assocation standings with three games remaining. MDI (14-2) is still first in the standings with two games remaining.
