The Woodland Dragons girls basketball team defeated Southern Aroostook 43-41 on January 23rd.
That put the Dragons near the top of the standings. Woodland (11-4) currently second in the Maine Principals’ Association class C North Standings will travel to Southern Aroostook on Tuesday night. A win would put the Dragons in great position to finish at least in the top two in class C. Southern Aroostook (13-1) is currently the top seed in class D North.
PCHS (11-2) will travel to Millinocket for a matchup with Stearns (13-0). The Pirates are number three in the class C North Standings, while the Minutemen are fourth.
The top two teams in the current class A North Standingd will meet tonight when #2 Nokomis (11-2) host #1 Messalonskee (13-0).
