The Husson Eagles softball team won two games on Saturday and finished their Florida trip with a 9-5 record.
Alannah Healy improved to 4-0 in the circle by firing a complete game shutout in a 2-0 Eagles win over Elizabethtown. Briana Brochu and Chloe Gorey had two hits each for the Eagles, while Arika Brochu had two RBI.
Morgan Coleman had three hits and two RBI to lead the Husson in a 6-1 over Smith in game two at Leesburg, Florida. Arika Brochu had two hits (including a home run) and two RBI. She finished the day with four RBI. Briana Brochu had two hits in game two and four hits on the day.
Briana Brochu leads the team with a .464 average through the first 14 games Brochu has also scored 10 runs. Her freshman classmate Gorey has a .302 average with two homers, seven RBI, and 10 runs scored. Healy and Courtney McIntyre have combined to go 7-0 in the circle.
Husson is scheduled to host Colby in a doubleheader on April 1st.
