In most cases, what happens in spring training means nothing once the regular season starts.
So the fact that Pablo Sandoval is hitting .333 this spring and hit two homers in a game against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday afternoon will not be remembered when Sandoval and the Red Sox take the field on April 3rd against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
What does matter is the fact that Sandoval looks like a different player not only by the way he is swinging the bat, but he is moving with cat like reflexes at third base.
Red Sox nation should expect Sandoval to be hitting fifth or sixth in the lineup and improve the third base production the team got last season. Here is a look at the two homers Pablo hit on Saturday.
