USA wins first WBC title

The United States rolled to an 8-0 win over Puerto Rico on Wednesday night to clinch their first World Baseball Classic Championship. 

Marcus Stroman led the way, allowing one hit in six shutout innings. He walked one and struck out three. The only hit Stroman allowed was a lead off single to Angel Pagan in the seventh inning.

Ian Kinsler, Christian Yelich, Nolan Arenado, Andrew McCutchen, and Giancarlo Stanton had two hits each. Kinsler got the scoring started with a two run homer in the third inning.
